Tuesday, 28 October saw some of the Juventus Women’s First Team players involved in two competitive matches and four friendlies with their respective national teams.
Denmark enjoyed success in the return leg, following on from their 6-1 victory a few days ago, beating Finland again. This time it was a 2-0 win in the UEFA Women's Nations League semi-final. Bianconere forward Amalie Vangsgaard played for 72 minutes.
After losing the first match, Pauline Peyraud-Magnin's France drew 2-2 with Germany in the other competitive match featuring a Juventus player (also in the UEFA Women's Nations League).
Mathilde Harviken started in Norway's 2-0 friendly win over Japan, while Italy, with several Bianconere players on the pitch, lost 1-0 to Brazil in Parma. Martina Lenzini, Cecilia Salvai, and Eva Schatzer all started the game, whilst Chiara Beccari, Cristiana Girelli and Barbara Bonansea all came off the bench.
It was an exciting match full of goals for Viola Calligaris and Lia Walti's Switzerland, who beat Scotland 4-3 at home in another friendly. Finally, Danielle de Jong's Netherlands won 1-0 against Canada.
