There is a Bianconeri presence guaranteed in the Qatar 2022 World Cup final.
Leandro Paredes and Angel Di Maria have made it to Sunday's showpiece after Argentina beat Croatia 3-0 in yesterday's semi-final. The two stand-out players were the two Argentine forwards. Julian Alvarez won the penalty for the game's opening goal in the 34th minute and scored twice himself, in the 39th and 69th minutes. The other was Lionel Messi, who converted the spot kick penalty and set up the third goal with an outstanding sample of his trademark skills.
Di Maria did not make an appearance, while Paredes was a starter and served 39 passes, made four tackles and struck one shot on goal to rubber stamp a all round quality performance in the centre of the park.
This evening Adrien Rabiot's France take on Morocco. Should the defending champions oust the tournament's surprise package, for the second successive World Cup there will be a Juventus presence on both sides in the final, just like four years ago at Russia 2018.
