Several Juventus players have played in recent World Cup qualifying matches with their European national teams for the upcoming tournament in the United States.

Andrea Cambiaso played for seventy-five minutes in Italy's match against Moldova, where the Azzurri secured a 2-0 win in the final moments of the game, confirming their second place finish in Group I behind Norway, who are their next and final opponent before the playoffs. Manuel Locatelli was on the bench.

Francisco Conceicao's Portugal, however, suffered a misstep in their qualification campaign. Conceicao came on in the 63rd minute immediately after Cristiano Ronaldo's red card, with Portugal already down 2-0 at halftime to Ireland, which remained the score at full time. Now to secure their World Cup spot Portugal must beat Armenia in their final match.

France meanhile have qualified for the World Cup, having called up Khephren Thuram last minute following Camavinga's injury. They won 4-0 against Ukraine, with the Juventus midfielder on the bench for the whole match.

Dusan Vlahovic and Filip Kostic's Serbia suffered a heavy defeat, with both players playing the entire 2-0 away loss to England, which effectively eliminated Veljko Paunovic's side from the World Cup race. Serbia, who remain on 10 points, are third in their group behind England (21) and Albania (14) with one match left to play.
