Three Juventus Men's First Team players featured in matches for their respective national teams yesterday evening, comprising one official fixture and two friendlies.
The first to take to the pitch, in the Under-21 European Championship qualifier, was Vasilije Adzic, who faced hosts Sweden with his Montenegro side. The Bianconeri midfielder started the match and played a key role by scoring the goal that made it 2-1 to Montenegro. The match ended 2-2.
In addition to the young midfielder, Teun Koopmeiners and Filip Kostic also started yesterday evening’s friendlies for the Netherlands and Serbia respectively. Koopmeiners provided an assist from a corner in the Oranje's 2-1 win over Norway, whilst Kostic played an hour in Serbia's defeat to Spain.
