J|College

THE EDUCATIONAL CENTER OF JUVENTUS

The J|College is a secondary school with a focus on sports, founded and inaugurated by Juventus and the Agnelli Institute in September 2012.
Initially located at the Juventus Training Centre in Vinovo (now Allianz Training Centre), since 2017 the College has been situated within the Continassa Area, just a few meters from the J|hotel and the men's first-team training center.
It is the first educational center in Italy to be managed by a sports club. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR), it was created to meet the needs of young people preparing for a sports career, while also balancing their personal academic commitments.

Over the years, Juventus has established numerous collaborations in the educational field: in 2015, management of the College was handed over to ISE (International School of Europe) under Principal Franco Cossard. Then, in 2017, ISE became WINS (World International School), a leading institution in the field, with the status of an International Baccalaureate (IB) Candidate School. It was also in this year that the J|College moved to the Continassa Area.

The definition and implementation of the educational path are driven by key priorities for the club, such as flexible scheduling (based on the needs of both morning and afternoon training sessions) and the necessity of utilizing innovative teaching methods and digital tools, allowing students to stay up to date with their studies even remotely.

The educational project is not solely aimed at enabling students to train and attend a school that caters to their needs, but also has a far more ambitious goal: to offer a well-rounded education, where the synergy between the classroom and the playing field is fully realized, aiming to shape responsible and aware individuals with a quality high school education.

The seriousness and value of J|College have been certified in the past by the European Club Association (ECA), which, in September 2013, awarded Andrea Agnelli the "ECA Best Achievement Award" in the "Youth Development" category, recognizing J|College as the best educational project among all those launched by European clubs and dedicated to their youth sectors.

THE CLASSES

Each year, about a hundred boys and girls from Juventus' youth sector attend J|College, divided into classes from the first to the fifth year of high school. This shared academic environment is where Juventus aims to further integrate both its men's and women's football projects.

Since 2017, more than 60 students have graduated from J|College, and some of them are currently playing in Serie A, either for the men's or women's teams: Sofia Cantore (Juventus Women), Eva Schatzer (Juventus Women), Melissa Bellucci (Napoli, on loan from Juventus), Alice Giai (Napoli, on loan from Juventus), Nicole Arcangeli (Sampdoria, on loan from Juventus), Federica D'Auria (Lazio, on loan from Juventus), Michela Giordano (Napoli), Sara Caiazzo (Sassuolo), Nicolò Savona (Juventus), Fabio Miretti (Genoa, on loan from Juventus), Hans Nicolussi Caviglia (Venezia).
