The adventure that began in January 2020 continues: Annahita Zamanian will wear the black and white shirt again next season! The midfielder, born in 1998, has signed the renewal of her contract until 2022.
“Class”. This is the first adjective that comes to mind when seeing Zamanian on the pitch. In that January, as soon as she joined Juventus, it took her all of 25 minutes to show her all of her qualities. At the Nereo Rocco, against Tavagnacco, she made her debut, coming onto the pitch in the 57th minute and immediately scoring her first goal, in the 83rd minute. The perfect way to start an adventure that has led her to win two championships and an Italian Super Cup, so far.
This year, she made 25 total appearances and scored four goals – each one more beautiful than the other, but above all seven assists in Serie A, only Barbara Bonansea and Cecilia Prugna (9) did better in the league. Not only that, in the championship just ended she was also the first Juventus player to create at least two assists during a single Serie A match on two different occasions.
Many outstanding numbers, but of course the big one for today is “2022”, the year until which Annahita Zamanian’s adventure in Bianconera will continue and we can’t wait to see the numbers that she will add.
