Five photos from Friuli that tell the story of our victorious season-opener against Udinese.

Federico Chiesa - Dusan Vlahovic

SHOWSTOPPERS FEDE AND DUSAN

Two minutes into the new Serie A season, and we are already in front: Dusan Vlahovic recovers the ball well in the Udinese half, his quick pass finding Federico Chiesa who takes a touch before firing in from range to give us the lead - our number 7 beginning where he left off last season, scoring the winner in the exact same stadium in the last fixture of the 2022/23 campaign.

In the 19th minute, a handball in the Juve box gives us a penalty, Vlahovic keeping his cool and making no mistake to double our lead.

Our first photo is this: the celebration of the two goalscorers, Fede and DV9.

Adrien Rabiot - Andrea Cambiaso

ADRIEN ON THE MARK

Adrien Rabiot and Andrea Cambiaso embrace after heading in the third of the night, the assist coming from the young winger - Andrea could not have dreamed of a better first team debut.

Let's rewind the tape, though, to understand how we got to the snapshot you just saw!

We are in added time of the first half, Juve are ahead by two goals, but have no intention of stopping.

Chiesa accelerates down the left, cleverly back-heeling a pass for Cambiaso to play in the perfect cross at the far post for Rabiot, who can't miss.

Three goals to the good at the break!

Timothy Weah

TIMO'S DEBUT

Timothy Weah is another to make his first Bianconero appearance. Like Cambiaso, the American full-back also starts and produces a solid performance with his runs and tactical discipline. At the start of the second half he makes way for compatriot Weston McKennie.

Wojciech Szczesny

POLISH WALL

Inactive for long stretches of the match, especially during the first half played at a very high tempo by Juventus, Wojciech Szczesny makes a super double save in the closing stages of the game.

He first dives to his left - pictured above - before producing heroics to deny an almost certain goal from Lorenzo Lucca's attempt.

Kenan Yildiz

KENAN ENTERS THE FRAY

The icing on the cake comes with five minutes to go, when Kenan Yildiz enters the pitch.

A very young striker born in 2005, the young Turk gets a taste of Serie A for the first time, and celebrates his first team debut with a win.

A very special evening for him, one we are sure he will not forget.
