Juventus take to the field for the first time in this season's Coppa Italia this evening against Monza.

Read on for more curiosities and statistics ahead of the 21:00 CET kick-off.

CLEARING THE FIRST HURDLE - Juventus are the team that has reached the quarter-finals of the Coppa Italia for the most consecutive seasons, having gone beyond the Round of 16 in all the most recent 15 years.

HOME RECORD - Juve are unbeaten in 17 home games in the Coppa Italia, thanks to 15 wins and two draws - the club's longest unbeaten home streak in the competition. The last home defeat dates back to the semi-final first leg on 5 March 2015 against Fiorentina.

CHIESA IN THE CUP - Starting from season 2018/19 Federico Chiesa has scored nine goals in the Italian Cup, over the same period only Krzysztof Piatek with 12 has done better in the tournament among current Serie A players.

ANGEL TAKING AIM - After his goal against Napoli, Ángel Di María could be involved in goals in back-to-back appearances in the shirt of Juventus since joining the club in the summer. The last time he succeeded was with Paris Saint-Germain last May (three, against Troyes, Montpellier and Metz).

TWO FROM TWO - Following wins against Frosinone and Udinese in August and October, Monza could win three games in a row in the Coppa Italia for the first time since 1988, when they overcame Roma, Empoli and Prato.
