Juventus Women's First Team coach Massimiliano Canzi and goalscorer Sofia Cantore spoke after the Bianconere's big 3-0 win away at Fiorentina on Serie A Matchday 13.

MASSIMILIANO CANZI

"We’ve managed to close one chapter and open another straight after the midweek game. It was important not to concede goals, following a spell where we’ve let in quite a few. We’ve focused on the defensive phase but we’re aware of our strengths and knew that sooner or later we'd find a goal. Today, we really showed our quality, as well as great compactness. After the last match in the Women’s Champions League [on Wednesday against Valerenga], we’ll have a long break and can enjoy the good job we’ve done up to now: we can say we’re 'winter champions', which doesn’t really mean much in itself but it gives us great confidence for all the remaining matches. We’re pleased with how we’ve done in the league so far"

SOFIA CANTORE

"We wanted to win today and head into the Christmas break in the best shape possible. We have a good lead over the teams below us, but we know we’re only at the halfway stage. There are still plenty of games to go, and it’s important for us to try to win them all. That’s what we’re doing at the moment, so we’re happy. In all honesty, the goals are just instinct, as much as anything else: for the first one, [Chiara] Beccari did really well and played a great ball to me, so I just had to finish off her hard work. And, for the second, I said to myself, "Well, I’ll have a go"; It went in, so I’m really pleased with that, as well."
