It’s May, and that means the final few games are upon us. Coach Pirlo only has one thing on his mind: achieving Champions League qualification and winning the Coppa Italia. In order to reach the former, points must be secured in all the remaining matches, starting from tomorrow in Friuli.
Here’s what Pirlo had to say on the matter:
TOMORROW’S MATCH
Udinese is a very physical team, made up of players with outstanding technical qualities. They also concede few goals, they are organised. It will be a difficult and important match. Cristiano will play with Dybala because Alvaro Morata is not in top condition. He is calm, he trained well. We don't calculate the fact that we play after Milan: for us, it is only about winning tomorrow, we are focused only on the present
FINAL PUSH OF THE SEASON
We are aware that this is a very important moment: we have 15 points to win plus the Italian Cup final. All matches are fundamental and we are focused on the next one. My goal is to win the remaining matches that will lead the team to the Champions League and win the Italian Cup. I am not thinking about anything else: I'm calm and concentrated. These final days will be a fight to the end, with difficult matches for everyone... starting tomorrow.
PLAYER UPDATE
Danilo is fine, Chiesa trained separately but is not yet 100%. We'll evaluate today, as we don't want to take any risks. Arthur only trained yesterday with the team, while Ramsey trained apart. Dybala trained well this week, he has put gas in his legs, he is much better. I don't know if Kulusevski will play from the start, however, he is fine.
