It was the first test that left behind good feelings, and Juventus Vice President Pavel Nedved, who spoke to Juventus TV at the end of the match, was pleased by the result.
“In this phase of preparation, you never exactly where you are with it,” he explained. “So, it was a very useful test. The team is working hard, and in the second half there was a normal drop in pace. But we are also very happy with how the younger players behaved, and how the more experienced players worked with them, guiding them. There was a good approach, and a great desire to play good football.
“Now we are waiting for others to return in the next few days: it was a good tournament, won by a great group. We noticed that many Juventus players scored, it is a good sign, we are pleased.”
