MATCH PREVIEW | JUVENTUS - ROMA

On Saturday at 18:30 CEST Juventus and Roma kick off in Serie A Matchday 3.

If last season is anything to go by, we are in for 90 minutes of intense, edge-of-your-seats emotions...

In January Mattia De Sciglio fired home the seventh and deciding goal that sealed an amazing comeback victory for the Bianconeri.

And it was De Sciglio that flighted in the cross that Moise Kean diverted into the Giallorossi net for the only goal in the first meeting between the two sides last season.

In each match, Wojciech Szczesny saved a penalty to secure the three points. With Tek's save at the Olimpico Twitter went epic.

Winning home and away against the Giallorossi was vital in Juve's push to finish in the top four - and keep Roma out. Now the team from the capital hold a two point advantage over the Bianconeri thanks to two wins from two at the start of this campaign.

The Allianz Stadium is unsurprisingly sold out for the head to head with Roma. At home Juventus have won 10 of the 11 Serie A matches against the Giallorossi played since the Stadium was inaugurated - against no other team have Juve collected more points at home over the same period.

Having scored in all their last 19 games in Turin against Roma in the league, the Bianconeri have strung together the longest scoring sequence at home against their lauded opponents.

Here are five goals that are worth recalling.

Talking of goals, new signing Arek Milik adds to the options in attack for Massimiliano Allegri even though there is still some paper work to complete before the Polish striker can be declared available for the game on Saturday. The squad has been further boosted by the news that Milik's international teammate Szczcesny has resumed training with the group and is ready for selection. The same cannot be said, however, for captain Leonardo Bonucci, who will not be named in the squad to face the Giallorossi.

Catch up on the coach's thoughts ahead of the match here.

Milik is a quality player, as shown by his excellent statistics. In my opinion he could even play alongside Vlahovic. If he's available to play I might field him from the first minute - it’s an idea I’ve been playing around with. Massimiliano Allegri, Juventus Coach
