Saturday, 8 November, marks the start of the new season for Juventus One. As many as 120 athletes will be divided into eight teams across four skill levels, and they will be supported by 30 staff members - coaches, educators, and volunteers - and each and every one of them will take the field with the same desire to win.
Juventus One continues to be a point of reference for those who want to experience Paralympic football, not only on the field, but also through the values, passion and vision of a social and sporting project.
“As every year, we face the beginning of the season with great enthusiasm and with the ambition of achieving the best sporting results. A long, demanding, and challenging journey awaits us, but our teams are working with professionalism, dedication, and team spirit,” says Gianluca Gallina, Technical Director of Juventus One.
“The athletes are ready to take the field, eager to put into practice everything that is asked of them during training and to continue to grow, both from a technical and a human point of view. Representing Juventus means carrying with pride a name and values that go beyond football: commitment, respect, inclusion, and the desire to overcome one’s own limits. We are Juve, and as such, our goal is always to win, with our minds, with our hearts, and with the identity that distinguishes us.”
The new season kicked off in October: a mixed C/D-level group took part in the ‘Sport is Inclusion’ tournament in Montaldo (TO); two D-level groups also competed in Montaldo (TO).
A mixed B/C group traveled to Palma de Mallorca, Spain, for the international ‘Mallorca Specials Cup 2025’, bringing home an excellent performance against Chelsea (1–1) and a second-place finish overall.
“It was amazing! Not only for the tournament, but for the experience itself. Many of the players flew on a plane for the first time. These are life experiences they will never forget,” writes coach Silvia Dema, upon returning from Spain.
The fixtures for the first day of the championship will take place at Sporting Orbassano in Orbassano (TO) at:
- 09:00: Team B1 vs Team B2
- 10:30: Team B2 vs Insuperabili, and Team C vs Albese
- 12:00: Team C vs Moncalieri
Best of luck to all involved!
