Juventus Women have yet to host Parma in Serie A, so the match to be played on Sunday 26 February at 14:30 CET will be a first.

To remember, however, is the nerve-jangling first meeting between the sides this season. The photo perfectly sums up the unbridled release of joy after an incredible victory.

Let's recreate the scene.

STADIO TARDINI, 19 NOVEMBER 2022

The equivalnet fixture in Parma was played on 19 November with the same mid-afternoon kick-off. The starting line-up chosen by Joe Montemurro was: Aprile; Lundorf, Rosucci, Lenzini Boattin; Caruso, Gunnarsdottir, Pedersen; Cernoia, Girelli, Beerensteyn.

NO REWARD

Parma-Juventus turned out to be a particularly complicated encounter in part due to the hosts' early goal. Melania Martinovic was the scorer in the 19th minute.

Either side of the goal, Cristiana Girelli fired three efforts on goal, which went close to the target or found opposition in the form of Alessia Capelletti. The script didn't change after the interval. With just two minutes remaining, Cristiana saw her shot rebound off the post.

With no reward despite all their chances, the thought that it was going to be one of those days crossed everyone's mind.

STOPPAGE TIME DRAMA

The 90 minutes elapsed with Parma still in front. Only injury time separated Juve from defeat. The team threw everything they had at their opponents and in the ninety-second minute the equaliser arrived.

Lisa Boattin's tried and tested left foot did the business after she had been set up by Barbara Bonansea.

THE TURNAROUND

Three minutes after drawing level, the unthinkable happened - the Bianconere found the net for the second time.

The finish came from Sara Gunnarsdóttir, smashing Girelli's lay-off in at the far post. Three points when all had seemed lost.

The explosion of joy was shared by all those on the pitch, and off it as those on the bench joined in the celebrations.
