Six years have passed since 3 June 2017, when an evening watching football with friends turned into a night of fear and tragedy.
It was the day of the Champions League final between Juventus and Real Madrid, thousands of Juventus fans had gathered in Piazza San Carlo to watch the match.
What should have been a simple evening of football, but unfortunately, following a moment of panic, two people did not make it home. That evening, Erika Pioletti and Marisa Amato lost their lives.
To commemorate the anniversary of the tragedy, this morning, Saturday 3 June 2023, a ceremony was held at 10:00 in Piazza San Carlo - in the presence of, among others, a Juventus banner - during which a floral wreath from the club was laid. A symbol to keep the memory of Erika and Marisa alive and to hold their families in a warm and strong embrace.
