The Juventus Men’s First Team delivered a five-star performance at home to Cremonese on Monday night, bringing Serie A Matchday 20 to a close with a comprehensive 5-0 win over the Grigiorossi.

Gleison Bremer, Jonathan David, Kenan Yildiz, and Weston McKennie were all on the scoresheet for the Bianconeri in a dominant performance.

THE MATCH REPORT

The first shot of the evening came through Khephren Thuram, whose effort was denied by Emil Audero on five minutes. Just moments later, Jonathan David went close, hitting the post from a tight angle.

At the other end, Michele Di Gregorio was at his alert and most reactive to deny Cremonese, as they looked to sniff out a chance as Andrea Cambiaso played the ball back to the Bianconeri ‘keeper.

It didn’t take long for the opener to come, however unusual the means in which it came about. A ball fell to Fabio Miretti a long way from goal and he took aim, with his volley bouncing off the head of Gleison Bremer, leaving Audero wrongfooted as the ball made its way into the back of the net.

That lead was doubled immediately through David. A lethal counterattack saw Thuram carry the ball from the edge of one box to the other, then slipping David in on the left and the Canadian was cool with his finish into the far-bottom corner.

With Cremonese having a penalty taken away from them after VAR intervention, the Bianconeri were awarded one of their own for a handball from Federico Baschirotto. Kenan Yildiz stepped up and saw his spot kick come back off the post, via an Audero touch, allowing the no.10 to tap in the rebound.

The chances kept coming, and both Yildiz and Weston McKennie looked to add a fourth, but there were to be no more goals before the break.

They kept flowing after the restart, though, and the Bianconeri wasted no time in getting back on target.

Just three minutes after the game got going again, McKennie was put through and rounded Audero before poking into an empty net, despite the best efforts of Cremonese’s defenders to scramble it clear.

McKennie also added the fifth, and this time there was no doubting the scorer. Pierre Kalulu delivered a perfect cross and the USMNT midfielder headed home from inside the box.

That was where the scoring would stop on a near-perfect night at the Allianz Stadium.
