GROUP STANDINGS - Juventus Women won the first match of the Italian Cup against Pink Bari with a 4-1 result (brace by Bonansea and goals from Maria Alves and Zamanian). In the other match Pink Bari and Pomigliano drew 1-1. Even with a draw, the Bianconere would enter the knockout phase.
THE OPPONENT – Newly promoted in Serie B, Pomigliano can be found at the top of the table on equal points with Riozzese Como, but with one match less. In 11 matches the Napoli-based side have collected sevens wins, two draws and two defeats with 20 goals scored and 9 conceded.
TOP SCORER IN THE CUP - The best scorer in the Italian Cup in the history of Juventus Women is Arianna Caruso with nine goals. The Juventus number 21 is also the player with the most appearances in the competition (14).
BONANSEA CHASING 50 - Bonansea, who is the leading Juventus scorer, found the back of the net on three occasions in the two Italian Super Cup matches against Roma and Fiorentina - she needs three more goals to reach the 50-goal mark.
UNBEATEN RUN – Guarino’s charges have not lost in the Italian Cup since 2 May 2018 (0-1 against Brescia). Since then, they have gone unbeaten for eight games, securing seven wins and one draw. Plus an Italian Cup trophy!
