Tomorrow, the first match of the upcoming week will be played which, once again, will be important one for the Bianconeri’s season. Juve continued to their preparation for the tie this morning, focusing on tactics. Whilst Juve’s minds will currently be focused on Juve-Inter, there is still a league comeback to continue, the resumption of the UCL and of course, hopefully, the Coppa Italia final to be won. However, listening to the words of coach, Andrea Pirlo, he and his team know exactly what must be done.
"We have to play as Juve, just as we are doing in the last few games - Pirlo explained to Juventus TV - Tomorrow is the second round of a great challenge, the final is a goal that we must achieve at all costs and it will be a and difficult game.
We will start with the attitude of not having the advantage: we consider it as a one-off final and we will play it as an aggressive team that knows what it wants to achieve, the goal is too important to let it slip away. Tomorrow, Gianluigi Buffon will be back in goal and Dejan Kulusevski will start from the first minute.”
STATE OF THE TEAM
Pirlo continues: “We are doing very well, we are recovering, apart from some knocks that we evaluate from moment to moment. Of course, there is some physical and mental fatigue, but we knew it would be like that. We are in the midst of some important and close matches; we know that we have to grit our teeth in order to recuperate and give our best.”
Regarding the recent improvement of Juventus’ defensive phase, the coach said: “There isn’t just one single key for improvement. We play as a team; we are together, and we work for each other. When you don't concede a goal, the merit goes to the whole team.”
