What incredible satisfaction for coach Alberto Bollini's Azzurrini, and it is a satisfaction that was also shared by Lorenzo Dellavalle, Luis Hasa and Nicolo Turco, the youngsters from our Under-19 team who formed part of the Italy side who were crowned European champions.
The group return home from Malta with a trophy, and the National U19s, in doing so, have sealed their second European title, exactly 20 years after the first, after beating Portugal on Sunday.
The final was decided by a goal by Michael Kayode in the 18th minute of the first half, in which Dellavalle and Hasa (scorer of the goal that had qualified us for the semi-finals) were involved from the start.
Now, all that is left to do is to celebrate and congratulate the whole team and our three European champions!
