First win for Sampdoria against Juventus in Serie A after five consecutive defeats to the Bianconere.
All of Asia Bragonzi's last four goals in Serie A have come from headers. More generally, in the last three seasons, only Cristiana Girelli (14) has scored more goals with this technique than Bragonzi (five) among Italian players in the competition.
Juventus failed to score in Serie A for the first time since February 2020 (0-0 vs Florentia), breaking a run of 82 consecutive matches with at least one goal in the competition.
Juventus have lost two games in 11 matches in this season's league. Last year, the Bianconere suffered their second defeat of the season in the 16th round.
Sampdoria kept a clean sheet against Juventus for the first time in six Serie A matches. In the previous five, the Blucerchiate had conceded 17 goals (an average of 3.4 per match).
